About Incubators - Business Start - up Center Bitola

The Business Start-Up Centre - Bitola (BSC Bitola) is a project of 6 partners:

• Municipality of Bitola
• University "St. Kliment Ohridski"- Bitola
• Regional Chamber of Commerce-Bitola
• Agency for promotion of entrepreneurship of the R. of Macedonia
• Regional Enterprise Support Center
• Faculty for Technical Science-Bitola

The centre is ignited by SPARK through a grant of the Dutch Government. The BSC Bitola offers young entrepreneurs up to the age of 40 years, trainings, consultancy, working space and access to micro-credit which will lead to the establishment of new and innovative small and medium enterprises. BSC-Bitola is part of a big regional network of Business Start-up Centres and Incubators in South Eastern Europe (BSC Network).

The Business Start-Up Centre Bitola supports students, graduates and young (potential) entrepreneurs to start or develop their own small and medium enterprises (SMEs), as well as support the growth of existing young businesses in Macedonia. It is part of a network of business centers in South East Europe and the European Union. The project is financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Netherlands, and co-financed by local stakeholders represented in the Coordination Committee of the centre.

The business incubator has premises of 300 m2 with 11 offices (the offices vary from 10m2 and up), shared office, conference room and a training room. The incubator supports all kinds of businesses, not a specific industry. The location is ideal, only 5 minutes from Shirok Sokak, actually five minutes from all events in Bitola.

The rent is 5 €/?2. BSC tenants pay 50% of the price in the first year (1-12 month), and from 13th till the 18th month they pay 100% of the initial price, while commercial tenants pay fixed rent of 5 €/?2
