About Incubators - Business Incubator Inventivnost, Podgorica

Business incubator “Inventivnost” is the first project of its kind in Montenegro, which is supported and registered by the Government of Montenegro and the Municipality of Podgorica . Also supported from donors: Office of the EC in Montenegro, Dutch agency Spark and GTZ Germany

Business incubator “Inventivnost” is the non–profit organization. The company was registered as a  limited liability company . In accordance with the strategy of development of small and medium-sized enterprises the establishment of Business incubator “Inventivnost” in Montenegro is of particular importance, especially when we talk about the entrepreneurial spirit and encourage the implementation of advanced business ideas. Business incubator concentrate all its available forces to launch and support private business. The process aims is to create new jobs, with the application of new ideas and advanced technologies, which is one of the key moments in the development of our society.  

Business incubator “Inventivnost” provides support in the early stage of development of business (rental of office and research space, technology and telecommunications infrastructure), administrative support and business consulting (business plan, management, marketing ...). Incubator - helps in the development and strengthening of partnerships between national, regional and local levels, public and private sector, donor community and national partners. Business incubator “Inventivnost” prepares entrepreneurs for starting their own businesses, through education and training programs, and through ongoing consulting and mentoring program. Incubator helps new small innovative companies - members of incubators, in elimination of beginner difficulties and the successful development of private business.

The call for firm in Incubator was officially opened till 31 st march 2008. On the basis of received documents, interview, the commission of experienced experts in IT and business sector, evaluated the quality of received applications and made decisions that 5 teams should enter the incubator project.

Incubator is conducting activities like:

• Training projects
• Educational program for improving business innovativeness and technology
• Support innovative actions aimed at introducing new idea in business sector
• Promoting a tenant company from Incubator in region
• C reation of this new working places through creation of new SME
• P rovide common administrative services, followed by the consultancy (trough different working trainings and individual consultation)
• Mentoring of business activities in incubator mentoring provided by the organization team and business people as a means of helping start-up users to run and sustain their IT enterprises

Our vision is to become recognizable and respectable center for   development of new companies, new ideas and new jobs in Montenegro.  

Our wish is to become the place where all potential   entrepreneurs find all necessary information and assistance when it comes to  create new private business. In addition, we want to be internationally   recognized as one of the important project development in our country for   better promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises and the use of new technologies   in the business. We hope that the business incubator can influence the development of   entrepreneurial awareness in the country that could become the first station on the long way of success for small and medium sized enterprises.
