The main goal of the project is to raise public awareness about the role of business incubators in providing new opportunities for employment among youth and development of small and medium sized businesses and entrepreneurship in the region.
The objectives include:
- Enhancing visibility of the business incubation model as an instrument for local and regional economic developmentStimulating self-employment among the youth in the local community as alternative approach forincreasing employment and preventing brain drainRecognizing the importance of academic institutions, business and public sector, local and central governmentparticipation in the creation of the business incubation model as significant instrument for economic development
- Creating unified methodology for the level of entrepreneurship development that could be used as a benchmark for policy makers
The project will encompass workshop, provide means for networking, be base for knowledge exchange between decision makers and experts and one joint conference will be organized to present comparative analysis findings, as well as used for lobbing to support the concept and creating more affordable business environment accordingly |

Innovation centers:
- to be part of informal network of similar organizations that creates unified system for comparing the level of entrepreneurship development in SEE region
- transfer of knowledge, best practices, know-how and sharing experiences among the innovation centers and improved cooperation as being part of the informal network
- improved communication with the local and business community, central and local government as a result of their participation and contribution in the methodology creation
- using the generated reports as benchmarks for their further development and improvement
Companies clients in innovation centers:
- possible cooperation, matchmaking and networking with the companies from the other SEE centers
- promotion within the SEE network
Local and central government:
- using unified methodology as a benchmark for economic policies, strategy and development
- the methodology can be used as significant step towards creation of stable innovative infrastructure that will enforce efforts aimed for job creation and preventing brain drain

All participants expressed their interest for collaboration and active lobbying activities in order to influence the policy for improving entrepreneurship development
- Dealing with pressing regional problems related to youth unemployment, support of start-up businesses, lack of seed capital, venture capitalist, business angels and local economic development will be a priority of the partners of the project
- Supporters and holders of this initiative will work towards building partnerships for concrete projects and activities aimed at improvement economic environment and promotion of companies that are clients of the incubators in the SEE Region
- Generated reports will be used as benchmarks for innovative centers further development and improvement, as well as the methodology can be used as significant step towards creation of stabile innovative infrastructure that will enforce efforts aimed for job creation and preventing brain drain
- Members of this informal network will closely cooperate on provision of data and exchange of information as well as on education and strengthen business skills of the innovative centers tenants (client companies)
- This initiative is starting point for further possible cooperation, matchmaking and networking with the tenant companies from the region
